Launch mode

Both flags ship off so the storefront can go public as a browsable showcase first. Flip them here when demos/checkout are ready — or with one-line SQL (see the README). Existing buyers are never affected: the buyer portal, downloads, license API, and payment webhook ignore these flags.

Demos are live — "Try the live demo" buttons link out via /demo/{slug}; off = disabled "Demo — coming soon" chips (and /demo/{slug} returns 404)

Sales are live — Buy buttons and checkout enabled; off = "Available soon — get notified" email capture (signups listed under Notify)

Active provider: demo. In demo mode the built-in simulated checkout runs the full purchase loop with no real money. Real providers need their webhook signature module configured (see the README's "Opus modules" note) — until then non-demo webhooks are rejected (fail closed).
